  1. For the owl, take a sheet of red foam rubber and draw around your hand with a pencil. Try to keep the middle three fingers very close together and leave the thumb and little finger at the side. Cut out this shape, cutting out the underside of the hand where the wrist would be. Cut out an oval shape from orange foam rubber and decorate it with wavy lines using a decorative pencil. Then stick it in the centre of the hand shape, just above the beginning of the fingers.
  2. Cut a long, thin branch out of brown foam and glue a small piece of green foam to the tip to form some leaves. Then glue this twig across the shape of your hand, directly above your fingers. Use a yellow decorative pen to draw the beak directly above the orange belly and two feet on the branch. Glue two large googly eyes directly above the beak. Cut out two small ears from red foam rubber and stick them to the top of the owl.
  3. For the fox, take a sheet of orange foam rubber and draw around your hand with a pencil. Try to keep your fingers very close together and let your thumb stick out to the side. Cut out this shape. Cut out the shape of a fox's head from the remaining orange foam rubber. Then glue two pieces of white foam onto both sides of the face and two small white triangles into the inner ears. Stick two googly eyes on the fox's face and draw the nose with a black pen. Use white foam to draw a white tip for the tail (thumb).
