- Repeat with different colours and leaf shapes
- Add highlights using a white or coloured paint pens

Hedgehog Fork Painting
Create adorable hedgehog art with this fun fork painting craft. Using forks to stamp spiky textures, children bring hedgehogs to life while developing creativity, fine motor skills, and exploring imaginative autumn themes.
What you need:
- Fork
- White card
- Acrylic paint
- Cotton wool ball
- Cotton bud
- Pencil
How to make:
- Make a pencil-mark on white card to indicate where the hedgehog’s nose will be
- Lay the fork in the light pink paint and print the hedgehog’s face in a triangular shape around the pencil-mark
- Lay a clean fork into the brown paint and print the hedgehog spikes in an arch shape that finishes in line with the bottom of the hedgehog’s face
- Fill in the arch with more brown spikes
- Dip a cotton wool ball into black paint and dab it over the pencil mark to make the hedgehog’s nose
- Dip a cotton bud into the black paint to paint two black feet. Add a black dot to the face for an eye
- Leave to dry

Bubble Wrap Tree Canvas
Create a stunning bubble wrap tree with this fun and creative craft idea. Using bubble wrap to print textured leaves, children can build colourful seasonal trees full of depth and pattern. This engaging activity boosts creativity, fine motor skills, and sensory exploration.
What you need:
- Large canvas or A3 white card
- Acrylic paint
- Paint brush and palette
- Bubble wrap
How to make:
- Paint a tree truck and branches with brown paint and leave to dry
- Cut bubble wrap into small squares
- Put orange, yellow, green and red paint into a sectioned paint palette
- Using a paint brush, apply orange paint evenly onto the bumpy side of a bubble wrap square
- Press the painted side of the bubble wrap gently onto the tip of one of the tree branches to create a textured leaf effect.
- Repeat this process a few more times, spacing the prints around the other branches to fill the tree
- Finally, add a few prints along the bottom of the canvas to represent fallen leaves
- Repeat the previous steps with red, yellow and green paint until the tree is full of leaves
- Leave to dry
