How to Make
Step 1
Round 1: With green wool, make a magic ring (MR). Work 6 half treble crochets (htr) into the ring and join with a slip stitch (ss).
Step 2
Round 2: Chain 3 (ch), then ss into the next 2 stitches. Repeat this sequence 2 more times to complete the round.
Step 3
Round 3: Chain 3, then work 3 treble crochets (tr) into the chain space from the previous round. Double crochet (dc) into the same space, add another 3 tr, chain 3, and finish with a slip stitch. Repeat this process in the remaining 2 chain spaces.
Step 4
Stalk: Slip stitch into the next stitch, then chain 9. Work dc into each stitch back down the chain and finish with a slip stitch into the last space. Snip the yarn and weave in the ends to complete your crochet shamrock.
Step 5
To make it a brooch, simply glue or stick a badge pin onto the back.
