How to Make

Step 1

In two pots mix PVA and paint to make green and blue coloured glue Pour the green into the flying disk to make the land shapes. Then pour the blue around the islands to create the ocean.

Step 2

Earth Day Sun Catcher

Tilt the disc slightly to ensure the glue mixture is level. Leave this to dry completely – this could take a day or two. When its dry peel the glue film off the disk.

Step 3

Earth Day Sun Catcher

Cut the centre out of a green paper plate and stick the glue film to the reverse of the plate using glue. Punch a hole in the plate and add a string. Leave to dry. Once dry hang in a window.
