  1. Firstly, sketch your Earth design onto a green paper plate with abstract shapes for the land. Paint the negative space (the ocean) blue using blue multi-purpose deco paint pots and a paintbrush.
  2. Allow the paint to dry and use the template to draw and cut out your heart design in the centre of the plate. Create holes around the outside of the heart cut out.
  3. Thread a length of red wool onto a needle. Stick one end of the wool to the back of the paper plate and begin threading it through each hole. When you finish threading through all the holes secure the remaining end to the back of the plate.
  4. Cut a length of red wool, create a loop, and stick it to the back of the plate so that you can hang your craft.
