Top Tip
When enjoying this experiment inside, use a plastic tray to contain the potion when it overflows. If outside, remember to hose down the area after you have finished.
How to Make
-
Recipe:
- 4 Tbs of baking soda at least
- 1 tsp of washing up liquid
- Squirt of Paint or food colouring
- White Vinegar
- In your jar, mix ¼ water with 4 /5 tablespoons of baking powder.
- Add lots of glitter and stars.
- Then add a big squirt of washing up liquid and mix it all together.
- Next, take 2 separate cups and fill each with ¼ of white vinegar.
- Create each one with a different food colouring.
- Choose your first colour and when you are ready (on a suitable surface) pour the vinegar into your potion jar.
- When the bubbles slow down, try another colour.
