Top Tip
When enjoying this experiment inside, use a plastic tray to contain the potion when it overflows. If outside, remember to hose down the area after you have finished.
How to Make
Step 1
In your jar, mix ¼ water with 4 /5 tablespoons of baking powder.
Step 2
Add lots of glitter and stars.
Step 3
Add a big squirt of washing up liquid and mix it all together.
Step 4
Next, take 2 separate cups and fill each with ¼ of white vinegar. Create each one with a different food colouring. Choose your first colour and when you are ready (on a suitable surface) pour the vinegar into your potion jar. When the bubbles slow down, try another colour. You should have enough for about 3 eruptions before needing more baking powder and water.

- 4 Tbs of baking soda at least
- 1 tsp of washing up liquid
- Squirt of Paint or food colouring
