How to Make
Step 1
Firstly, paint the jar with skin tone paint using a sponge dabber. You may need a few coats.
Step 2
Using a fine paintbrush, paint on the scarecrow features and stick on the jumbo wiggle eyes.
Step 3
Stick raffia around the top of the jar for the scarecrow’s hair.
Step 4
For the hat draw around the lid of the jar and draw a bigger circle around it and cut it out using scissors. Then, cut out a rectangle that is long enough to wrap around the lid of the jar by 6cm. Fold the rectangle over and glue it in place.
Step 5
Place the circle cut out hessian over the jar lid and stick it in place, with the hessian rectangle wrapping around the lid. Then, cut a length of ribbon and stick it around the hat.
Step 6
Lastly, stick the floppy, front part of the hat to the top of the hat using super tacky glue.
