How to Make
Step 1
Start by generously dabbing yellow watercolour paint at the bottom of your paper. Drag the paint upward in spike-like shapes to help form the base of your flames when you blow through the straw.
Step 2
Take your straw and gently blow the paint upward, creating the flickering flames of your campfire. To add sparks, flick your paintbrush over the page, letting small droplets scatter around.
Step 3
Once the yellow paint is completely dry, repeat the process with orange and then red watercolour layers, blowing the paint upward each time. Make sure each layer dries fully before adding the next.
Step 4
After all the paint layers have dried, glue small twigs onto the bottom of your painting in a crossed pattern to complete your realistic campfire artwork!
