How to Make

  1. Firstly, select a few of your favourite Christmas cards.
  2. Then, place the tracing paper over the top of a natural wood circle. Using a pencil draw around the area of the wood slice you would like to cover. Leaving the bark edge visible is effective.
  3. Place the tracing paper circle onto your chosen card, this will help you select which area of the card to cut out.
  4. Using the tracing paper as a guide, cut out the circle shape from the card. Try not to make a perfect circle, the more natural the better!
  5. Stick the card to the log slice.
  6. Lastly, cut a length of jute twine, tie a knot, and stick it to the back of the log slice.
