How to Make
- Using a pencil, draw your design onto the bag. Then draw over the design outlines with fabric pens and colour in. Your teacher’s name or message can be drawn directly onto the fabric bag using fabric pens.
- Alternatively, draw your teacher’s name or message on the backing of self adhesive felt then cut out, peel off backing and stick on the bag.
- Give your design a 3D effect by outlining the teacher’s name, message and stickers with 3D fabric paint to make the message stand out. Then leave to dry.
- Decorate with felt stickers to add interest.
Top Tip
Before decorating your bag, place a piece of cardboard inside to prevent any paint seeping through to the other side, and create a firm base on which to draw your design.
