How to Make
- Decide which pirate themed images you would like to paint on your story stones.
- Paint your characters and objects onto each stone with acrylic paint and leave to dry. Apply a second coat of paint on top. Leave to dry.
- Once dry, draw on the small details such as the characters eyes, noses and mouths using a black pen.
- Use a black fabric marker pen to write ‘Pirate Story Stones’ onto the front of a fabric case. This can be used as a storage bag for the stones.
Top Tip
Wait until the paint is completely dry before adding on any small details such as the characters eyes, noses and mouths to avoid smudging.
