  1. Paint the characters from Jack and the Beanstalk onto a range of the stones. These will include: Jack, the beanstalk, a cow, magic beans, giant, castle and so on.
  2. Choose stones that fit the characters etc well. For example, choose a large stone for the giant, a tall thin stone for the beanstalk and a smaller stone for the magic beans.
  3. Add another coat of paint to the stones if needed, then put to one side to dry.
  4. Use a black fabric pen to write 'Jack and the Beanstalk Story Stones' onto the fabric pencil case. Then use this to store the stones inside.
