Experiment with different designs for a canvas picture. You could try a design with coloured paint pens.
How to Make
- Mark the middle of the canvas in pencil as a guide for drawing out your picture.
- Lightly draw an outline for the mosque and a surrounding border.
- To make it easier, draw the design on paper then cut it out to use as a guide for the outlining the main shapes.
- An HB pencil line should show up on the canvas, or use a yellow or white pencil if you prefer.
- Use a gold pen to outline the border over the pencil line.
- Draw curly details and patterns inside the border as decoration. Leave the gold to fully dry before starting the middle area.
- Outline the mosque in gold pen then fill in the middle to make a solid shape.
- Add details to the minarets and on top of the dome. Leave the paint to dry.
- Use the end of the gold pen to draw dots for stars in the sky.
