Step 1
Start by making a chain (ch) 10 stitches long.
Step 2
Insert your hook into the first chain stitch to form a loop.
Step 3
Yarn over (yo).
Step 4
Pull through both the stitch and the loop on your hook — that’s your slip stitch!
Step 5
To fasten off, cut the wool leaving a 3-inch tail. Chain 1, then pull the tail all the way through to secure it with a knot.
