Wooden Spoon Lollipop Person

How to Make

1. Take a sheet of coloured felt of your choice and draw around the top of the wooden spoon onto it. Then cut out a hair shape using this as a guide, and stick the hair to the top of the wooden spoon using either tape or glue.
2. Cut out the shape of a pair of trousers from a sheet of black felt and stick them to the bottom section of the wooden spoon handle.
3. Cut out a jacket shape from a sheet of yellow felt and stick it to the upper section of the wooden spoon handle. Then use a black pen to draw a line down the centre where the two side of the jacket would meet.
4. Cut out two strips from a sheet of grey felt that are the same width as the jacket and stick them to the jacket. Then cut out two smaller strips and stick them to the arms. Add hands using the skin tone self-adhesive felt.
5. Take a sheet of red felt and cut out a circle with a long thin handle attached. Then cut out a slightly smaller circle from a sheet of yellow card and stick it to the centre of the red circle.
6. Use a black pen to write “STOP” to the yellow circle, then stick the stop sign to the lollipop person’s hand.

Top Tip

To change the skin tone of the puppet, just choose a sheet of skin tone felt and stick it to the top of the wooden spoon before adding the hair.
