How to Make
- Firstly, paint the wooden banner white, using acrylic paint.
- Using the template, draw and cut out the ears, flowers, and unicorn horn from card.
- Then, hole punch 3 small circles for the centre of the flowers, then assemble the templates together.
- Cut a length of ribbon and thread it through the holes in the banner and tie a knot at each end.
- When the banner is dry, stick the ears, hair, horn, and flowers to the banner.
- For the eyelashes, colour the back of the template with a pencil. Place the template pencil side down on the banner and trace over the outline. This should leave you with outlines of the eyelashes.
- Then, fill the eyelashes in with black paint.
- Cover the wooden banner with PVA glue, then sprinkle iridescent glitter on top. Remember not to apply glue to the ears, hair, and horn.
- Lastly, stick small unicorn pom poms around the edge of the banner.
Top Tip
You could create all different pastel-coloured unicorns.
