You can tie a knot at each end of the green wool to make sure the wool stays in place.
How to Make
Step 1
Begin by using the template to cut out the shapes for the thistle from green card and glitter card.
Step 2
Next, cut four small slits or triangles on each side of the rounded part of the thistle.
Step 3
Wrap the green thread around the paper to cover the base of the thistle.
Step 4
Hole punch five small holes along the bottom of the paper for threading.
Step 5
Thread and loop lengths of purple yarn through the holes, trimming the yarn for a neat finish after threading.
Step 6
Cut out the thistle stem template using green glitter card, then glue the sections together to complete your craft.
