How to Make

  1. Firstly, using the template cut out the shapes that make up the thistle from green card and glitter card.
  2. Then, cut 4 small slits or triangles on either side of the ‘rounded’ part of the thistle.
  3. Stick one end of the green wool to the back and begin threading the wool between the slits to create a crisscross effect. Stick the remaining end to the back of the thistle.
  4. Hole punch 5 holes at the top.
  5. Then thread and loop lengths of purple yarn though the holes. You can trim the purple yarn after threading to create a neater finish.
  6. Lastly stick the sections together using glue.
