Top Tip
Allow the glue to set between each colour to avoid the craft sticks slipping as you build up your wooden wind spinner. You can also use hot glue as an alternative.
How to Make

- To make the wooden wind spinner easier to assemble make the wind spinner in two halves. 1 half with red orange and yellow and the other with green, blue, and purple.
- Firstly, put a blob of wood glue on a red craft stick. Place another red craft stick on top of the glue. Continue this until you have glued 10 red, 10 orange and 10 yellow craft sticks together. Make sure to fan the craft sticks out from the centre in the same direction.
- Set aside to let the glue dry.
- Repeat this process with 10 green, 10 blue and 10 purple craft sticks and set aside to dry.
- Cut a length of jute twine and tie it around the centre of a red craft stick.
- Thread rainbow colour beads onto the jute twine and tie a knot at the top.
- Stick the red craft stick to the top of the red, orange, and yellow half of the wind spinner.
- Once the two halves are dry stick them together so that the craft sticks flow in the same direction.
- Lastly hang in your garden!
