Paint a stone with deco paint in your colour choice. Allow to dry.
Pour some PVA glue into a yoghurt pot or something similar. Cut a piece of jute twine around 1 metre long and dip it into the glue. Make sure that the string is thoroughly coated. Run the string through your fingers over the pot to remove any excess.
Starting at the back of the stone, wrap the sticky twine around the stone in different directions until you run out of string. Allow to dry.
Peel and stick one or two wiggle eyes to your spooky rock (add extra glue to make it last longer). You can add a mouth with a black deco pen or leave it without.
