Top Tip
You don’t always need to wash up the foam in between marbling, you can just add another layer and more paint when it begins to get messy. However, it is recommended to wash between changing colours.
How to Make
- To start, using the template draw and cut out 11 bunting shapes from water colour paper and letters to spell ‘Happy Easter’ from white card.
- Fill a tray with shaving foam, filling enough area to cover the watercolour paper shapes.
- Squirt pastel coloured ready-mix paint on top of the shaving foam and swirl it using a paint brush.
- Place the cut-out watercolour paper into the foam and paint mixture.
- Slightly push down to ensure all areas of the watercolour paper are covered.
- Take the paper out of the tray and scrape off the excess foam and paint with a squeegee or a ruler.
- Repeat until all the bunting shapes are marbled.
- Stick the Letters on the marbled bunting shapes.
- Outline the shapes in pastel coloured deco pens.
- Hole punch 2 holes in each of the bunting.
- To finish, cut 2 lengths of pastel wool and thread through the holes of the bunting spelling ‘Happy Easter’.
