Use the inside of a large tape roll as a base to build your tree-top, or draw around a cup and use the circle as a guide.
How to Make
- Use the inside of a large tape roll as a base to build your tree-top. Use Super Tacky Glue and pom poms to build a dome. (If you don’t have a tape roll you can draw around a cup and use the circle as a guide). Start with bigger pom poms in the middle and place smaller ones around the outside. Allow to dry and repeat to make a second dome of pom poms.
- Pour coloured sand into the terracotta pot, leaving a round 1cm at the top.
- Push your cinnamon stick into the sand to finish.
- When they have both dried, apply glue to the flat sides of the domes and sandwich the 2cm tip of the cinnamon stick in between. Allow to dry.
- Add extra pom poms to the tree-top until you are happy with the shape.
