Acrylic Pour Blow Painting Flowers

Top Tip

If you want to make bigger paintings, mix Magic Marbling Acrylic Pouring Medium with acrylic paint to mix up your own volume of paint.

How to Make

Step 1

Acrylic Pour Blow Painting Flowers

Firstly, cover your canvas in white acrylic pouring paint. Alternatively, you can mix acrylic paint with pouring medium so that you can make larger quantities of paint to pour.

Step 2

Whilst the white pouring paint is still wet, create a flower by pouring a blob of pink paint, then pour a smaller yellow blob on top of the pink paint.

Step 3

Using a fine paint brush, pull the outside edge of the pink inwards to the centre of the circles, do this 5 times at different points of the flower if you want to create 5 petals.

Step 4

Using a straw, blow from the centre of each petal to create a flower. Repeat to create another flower, or as many as you need.

Step 5

For the leaves, pour green paint in a leaf shape. You should do this for each flower so they all look relatively the same, or mix it up with more or less leaves for each flower on the canvas.

Step 6

using a paint brush zig zag from each side of the leaf. Then, create a line through the middle by pulling the paint through the centre of the leaf from one end to the other. Using a straw blow the bottom/centre of the leaf. Allow time to dry for 24-48 hours. Try not to tip your painting after you have finished as your flower design will slide off!
