Top Tip
- Make sure to use card instead of paper for the springs so that the flowers will ‘spring’ back up.
How to Make
Step 1
Firstly, using the template draw and cut out the shapes from card. Stick and assemble the flowers.
Step 2
Cut out two irregular circles from green card. Make the dark green circle slightly bigger than the light green.
Step 3
Stick the circles together with the grass around the edge.
Step 4
Create a spring by cutting two strips of green card 2cm width and 12cm length. You can create different spring heights by adjusting the lengths. Lay down the two strips to create a right angle, one strip will be vertical and one horizontal. Glue the pieces together where they meet at the bottom.
Step 5
Fold each strip of paper alternately until you get to the end.
Step 6
Stick the flowers and leaves to the springs. Stick the flowers to the circular ‘grass’. Lastly, stick the pastel green gems around the flowers.
