Top Tip
Try using smaller bottles for smaller hands.
How to Make
- Thoroughly wash out an empty Clear plastic drinks bottle.
- Add around 4 tablespoons of glitter to the empty bottle. I used 3 of pink and 1 of white glitter but this is up to you.
- fill the bottle with tap water leaving a space of about 2 inches at the top.
- Add 2 drops of dish soap.
- Screw the lid on and shake, if you feel you need more glitter or water add it now.
- If you are happy with your sensory bottle unscrew the lid and place a generous squirt of Extra strong glue around the inside of the lid then screw back onto the bottle tightly and leave to set.
- Print out the template and ask an adult to support you in drawing around and cutting out the shapes onto the glitter foam.
- Glue the hair onto the face, add wiggle eyes and draw the nose and mouth.
- Stick the cut-outs of the head, wings, arms and wand onto the bottle using double sided tape in their correct positions.
- Shake and enjoy watching the swirls of fairy glitter dance in the water.
- Do not leave this bottle on a window ledge or in direct sun light.
