Instead of using Oasis flower foam, you can use clay to help hold up the pipe cleaner hyacinths.
How to Make
- Firstly, paint the porcelain flowerpot with blue and yellow porcelain paint and set aside to dry.
- For the stems, fold a pipe cleaner in half and twist together to make the stem sturdier.
- For the hyacinth flower, wrap a blue pipe cleaner around the pencil and the tip of the pencil to make the hyacinth smaller at one end.
- Slide the hyacinth flower on the stem.
- For the leaves, fold a pipe cleaner in half and twist the bottom of the pipe cleaner.
- Push clay into the flowerpot and stick the end of the hyacinths and leaves into the clay.
- Lastly, stick various shades and sizes of brown pom poms around the hyacinths to create the ‘soil’.
