How to Make
- To start, make the Easter Bonnet Kit using the instructions in the pack.
- Next, stick brown pom poms on the top centre of the bonnet using super tacky glue.
- Tear sections of dark and light green tissue paper.
- Scrunch and stick the tissue paper to the bonnet, then set aside to dry.
- Using the template cut out the sections of the chick from card and pastel printed paper.
- Roll and stick the cone.
- Cut a slit in the top point of the cone; this is where the comb will slot into.
- Concertina the legs (the 2 red strips of card).
- Stick the card features and wiggle eyes onto the chick.
- Stick the chick to the centre of the bonnet.
- Decorate around the chick using nests, fluffy chicks, and paper daisies.
- Allow the hat to dry before wearing.
