  1. Firstly, draw your tartan design onto a red paper bag using deco pens and a ruler.
  2. Then create 5 tubes from black card and double-sided tape. When you have made all 5 tubes, snip off the ends to make them different lengths.
  3. Make small 1cm length slits around the bottom of 4 of the tubes. Then fold all the tab’s inwards.
  4. Add detail to the tubes with silver tape.
  5. Stuff the inside of the bag with newspaper or tissue paper. Then stick the un-decorated tube inside the paper bag.
  6. Seal the opening of the bag around the tube by folding the corners and sticking them. Then punch 2 holes in the tube.
  7. Using super tacky glue, stick all 4 decorated tubes on top of the bag. Alternatively, you can use hot glue.
  8. To finish, cut a length of wool and stick and tie it around the tubes.
