How to Make

  1. Cut the top of an egg carton off and paint the base white and leave to dry.
  2. When dry, paint the inside and outside of the carton base with the Pastel Multi-Purpose Deco Paint Pots. Allow to dry.
  3. Paint two natural wooden craft sticks with one of the orange pastel paint and allow to dry.
  4. When dry, use a multi-purpose glue to stick the craft sticks to inside of the egg carton and leave the glue to dry.
  5. Print and cut out the template pieces. Using the flag bunting template, draw around the template on 7 different sheets of the Pastel Printed Paper Pack and cut out. Fold them in the middle, meeting the points together to line them up. Place them to one side.
  6. When the craft sticks are well dry, cut a piece of string approximately 20cms in length. Tie each end to the sticks to make your bunting string. Cut off any excess string from your knots.
  7. Line up the folded flags on the line and place a dab of glue inside each flag point. Squeeze each flag point together for around five seconds for the glue to set.

BUNNY EGGS:

  1. To make a bunny ear, cut a pipe-cleaner piece 8cms in length and bend it in half. Twist the bottom cm together leaving a gap to make the ear shape and poke it into one of the holes on top of a Golden Egg. Use one hand to hold the ear and the other hand to bend and press the protruding pipe-cleaner against the top of the egg on the inside. Repeat this for each bunny ear.
  2. To make a bunny hat, draw around the hat template on a piece of Pastel Printed Paper. With the pattern facing towards your work surface, apply some glue along the right edge and roll it into a cone shape from the left. Once stuck, snip the tip off and stick on a pom pom to this flat tip, with a blob of glue. Allow to sit for a while to dry, then apply glue to the base of the hat and place between bunny ears on a golden egg.
  3. To make your bunny teeth, draw a small white rectangle just above the join in the middle of the egg, central to the ears and hat.
  4. To make your bunny nose, cut out a small oval shape from some pink self-adhesive foam and peel the back off. Stick the nose just above the bunny teeth.
  5. Peel and stick on 2 self-adhesive wiggle eyes just above the nose.
  6. Repeat these steps to make 2 bunnies, then place them into your carton.

LAMB EGGS:

  1. To make a lambs ear, cut a white pipe-cleaner piece into quarters. Make a small loop in the middle of a pipe-cleaner quarter and twist. Poke the ear into one of the holes on top of the golden eggs and bend it down so the edge of the ear lays on the egg. Then, use one hand to hold the ear and the other hand to bend and press the protruding pipe-cleaner against the top of the egg on the inside to secure the ears position. Repeat this for each lamb ear.
  2. To make the lambs woolly hair stick white pom poms to the top of the golden egg, between the ears, using super tacky glue.
  3. To make your lambs mouth, draw a wide W-shape just above the join in the middle of the egg, central to the ears and woolly hair.
  4. To make your lambs nose, cut out a D-shape from some pink self-adhesive foam. Peel the back off and stick the nose just above the mouth.
  5. Peel and stick on 2 self-adhesive wiggle eyes just above the nose.
  6. Repeat these steps to make 2 lambs and place them into your carton.
