If the surface of the bark is too rough to draw on, measure out the pieces on the reverse side.","image_01":65096,"step_instruction_01":"Measure and cut a 15cm x 13cm rectangle from black card. Rule a 3cm strip along both 13cm sides, score with a ballpoint pen, and fold up to create the base sides.","image_02":65097,"step_instruction_02":"Cut three 3cm x 10cm strips from a bark square (use the reverse side if needed). Glue two strips to the folded sides of the base and trim the third strip to fill the ends. Let it dry.","image_03":65098,"step_instruction_03":"Cut two 1cm x 9cm bark strips and glue them flat onto the card base at each end to reinforce and support the structure.","image_04":65099,"step_instruction_04":"Draw and cut two house-shaped end pieces from bark: mark the centre (5cm) at the top, then connect to two points 3cm above the bottom corners. Cut a 3cm x 5cm door into one and glue thin bark strips around it. Let dry.","image_05":65100,"step_instruction_05":"Fold up the side strips of the base and glue the house-shaped bark ends in place. Glue it to the top of the house. Add two curled semi-circles (6cm diameter) on the rooftop fold for shape. Brush glue on the roof and press on raffia.
