You can make the bunting as long as you like by using more of the fabric flags.
How to Make
- Take a bunting flag and, using a red pen and ruler, draw a vertical and horizontal line to form a red cross. Then add diagonal red lines in each section, leaving a thin white border. Finish the flag by colouring the remaining areas blue, still keeping the white borders to complete the Union Jack design.
- On another flag, use red and blue fabric pens to write ‘VJ DAY 80’, then outline or colour the border in blue. Repeat the previous steps to make as many message or flag designs as you like.
- Cut a long strip of red ribbon and thread it through the holes at the top of each bunting flag. Alternate between the Union Jack and message designs for a festive and meaningful display.
