How to Make
- Roll out some red Fimo to approx. 2mm thickness and cut out two heart shapes. Roll out some white Fimo to the same thickness and cut out a pair of wings.
- Place one heart on a baking tray and lay the wings across the middle. Place the second heart over the wings, gently smoothing it down to meet the first heart at the edges.
- Cut a wavy banner shape from more white clay and lay this over the top of the design. Using a cocktail stick, carefully pierce a small hole at the top of the heart (you may need an adult to help you). Bake for 30 minutes at a very low temperature of 110°C/230°F.
- When the clay has cooled, add detail and shading using yellow acrylic paint and a black permanent marker. Write 'Daddy' across the banner with a black marker pen then paint the heart with a coat of clear varnish. Add split metal rings to finish.
Some tattoo designs are great for making keyrings: try copying bluebirds, roses or even skulls!
