Time to Make

Adult Supervision Needed

How to Make

  1. Draw and cut out small butterfly and flower shapes from self-adhesive foam, then draw round the two flowers in pencil onto the door hanger.
  2. Use brightly coloured acrylic to paint the front, back and sides of the door hanger and use a different colour for the flowers.
  3. Use white paint to spell out 'dad's shed' around the flowers and then varnish both sides of the door hanger to make it weatherproof, leave to dry.
  4. Use PVA to glue the shapes to the door hanger, adding circles of self-adhesive foam to the centres of the flowers.

Top Tip

If Dad doesn't have a shed you can make different shapes from foam and turn this into a door sign to say how great he is!
