How to Make

  1. Colour the bottom of a mini flower pot using red Deco Pen. Colour with strokes in the same direction to give even coverage, ensuring it's completely covered, with the rim of the pot left bare. Leave to dry.
  2. Cut a strip of black self-adhesive felt to fit the circumference of the pot.
  3. Cut a square from yellow self-adhesive felt, using the picture as a size guide. Cut out a square aperture to create the appearance of a belt buckle, then peel off the paper backing and secure over the centre of the black felt belt, as shown.
  4. Apply a layer of PVA glue to the rim of the pot. Tear off pieces of tissue paper, scrunch them up and stick them on to finish. Leave to dry, then pop festive treats inside and display.

Top Tip

You can use acrylic paint to colour the pot as an alternative to pens
