Top Tip
Use just a small amount of paint when creating the galaxy as this will help it blend smoothly and give a soft, cosmic effect.
How to Make
Step 1
Paint the entire canvas black.
Step 2
While the paint is still wet, gently dab purple, navy, and white paint across the centre to create a galaxy effect.
Step 3
Splatter white paint to represent stars, then let the canvas dry completely.
Step 4
Using the constellation guides, decide where to place your holes. Ask an adult to carefully use a compass to puncture the canvas.
Step 5
Gently remove the stars from the LED lights, then poke each LED through from the back. Replace the star to secure the LED in place.
Step 6
Paint a fine white line to finish your constellation, then secure the battery pack to the back of the canvas using tape.
