Top Tip
Try spelling out your name in braille or see how many letters of the alphabet you can learn off by heart.
How to Make
- Print out the alphabet templates onto white card and cut out.
- Paint the keepsake book with a basecoat white and let it dry.
- Once the Paint is dry draw a rectangle onto the centre of the book. Make this roughly 10cm tall x 6 cm wide.
- Leaving this rectangle white paint the rest of the book a colour of your choice (I have chosen a pastel green) and leave to dry.
- Outline the edges of the rectangle and of the book in black pen.
- Stick the hook side of the Hook and Loop dots on to the white rectangle. Try to evenly space them in 2 columns of 3 dots.
- Choose 6 identical buttons and stick the loop side of the dots on to each one.
- Store the buttons and the alphabet cards inside the Keepsake book when you are not using it.
- Use the front of the book to make each letter of the Braille alphabet. Follow the pattern on the alphabet cards placing a button where the black dots are and leaving the others blank.
