Top Tip
Try not to pull the embroidery thread too tight, otherwise you may pull the pins out.
How to Make
Step 1
Step 2
Step 3
- Download and print out the Eiffel Tower template onto a sheet of black paper.
- Stick 3 polystyrene sheets together to create the base of your artwork.
- Then stick the Eiffel Tower template on top.
- Press red, clear, and blue pins into the polystyrene at even points around the Eiffel Tower design. The pins should be pushed about two thirds of the way in, so there is enough room left to wrap the string around it.
- Take some blue embroidery thread and tie a knot around one of the pins in the top section of the Eifel Tower.
- Wrap the string around each pin in this top section, making sure it crosses over the design in different directions. Try to make sure each pin in this section has been used at least once.
- Repeat with white embroidery thread in the middle section and red embroidery thread in the bottom section.
- Trim the ends of the thread to finish the Eiffel Tower design.
- Lastly, layer and stick red, white, and blue glitter foam hearts around the Eiffel Tower.
