Top Tip
Stretch the balloon a bit before you attach it to make it easier to apply.
How to Make
- Print out the Union Jack template onto white copier card, then colour it in using felt tipped pens.
- Take a balloon and trim the rounded end off of it, leaving the longer, thinner bottom section.
- Stretch the wider opening of the balloon over one end of the cardboard tube, making sure it is tight enough to stay in place.
- Stick the Union Jack around the outside of the cardboard tube, over the top of the balloon. If any of the card hangs over the edge of the tube, simply tuck it into the centre.
- Fill the top of the tube with pom poms and star sequins. To 'pop' it, pull the end of the balloon and release.
