Time to Make

1 hour (including baking time of 30 minutes)

How to Make

  1. Trace an oval shape onto a sheet of shrink plastic, ensuring the plastic is rough-side up. You’ll want the oval to be nearly as big as the sheet of plastic, leaving approx 1cm border all the way around.
  2. The labels can be used for anything - jam jars, as gift tags, wedding favours - so choose what you’d like to display on it, and design accordingly. We’ve gone for a block colour background with a pretty scalloped border and a personalised message in the centre.
  3. Leave the colour and design to dry, then punch a hole centrally at the top, as shown. Bake according to the shrink plastic instructions, ensure the tag has flattened nicely and leave to cool.
  4. To finish thread onto ribbon, thread, string or twine and tie around your desired object - our label has been used to personalise a bear as a gift, but you can use them for absolutely anything!

Top Tip

You don’t have to stick to the size and shape of our label, you can experiment with stars, hearts and other shapes for an even more personal touch.
