Top Tip
If you're creating a lot of these for a wedding or party, try reversing out the colours on alternate tealight holders, painting or colouring the base gold and leaving the pearls white.
How to Make

- Paint the tealight holder with one coat of white acrylic paint, making sure you cover it completely, including the underneath and outside edges. Leave to dry.
- Take a sheet of self-adhesive pearl gems and colour 36 of them with the gold marker pen while they're still stuck to the plastic backing. Leave these to dry too.
- When the tealight holder is dry, you'll be able to see whether or not it needs a second coat of paint. If it's nicely covered, start applying the gold pearls. They should be stuck around the edge of the heart, following the curve round and butting up against each other.
- Now just pop a tealight inside and you're ready to light up your party or event.
