How to Make

  1. Print out the template provided and trace around it onto the coloured side of a paper plate, using pen or pencil.
  2. Cut around the guidelines with scissors to reveal an angel figure at the front. Don't forget to cut along the lines at the sides (refer to the template).
  3. Take the two ends of the paper plate and fold around the back, so the angel figure is at the front. These will become the wings. Curve the wings around then slot the cut-out lines together to secure - one line will be in a horizontal position, the other vertical, allowing you to push one into the other. The end result should have the angel figure at the front and coloured wings showing at the back; use the picture as a guide.
  4. Draw on face detailing and hair using felt pens or Deco Pens. Add a sequin necklace. Draw on a set of arms in pen, as shown, and stick on a sequin for each hand. Decorate the bottom edge of the angel's skirt with glittery spots using a PicTixx 3D Glitter Pen. Leave to dry, then add a row of sequins above, as shown, with Glue Dots.

Top Tip

Try drawing your angel shape onto the plate in pencil at first
