Top Tip
You could stick some ribbon on to tie under your chin to help keep the hat in place.
How to Make
Step 1
Print off the template and cut the pieces out of card.
Step 2
Assemble the pieces to make the hen by sticking them together with super tacky glue.
Step 3
Stick some feathers to the tail and wing to make the hen look more authentic.
Step 4
Take some raffia and create a nest shape on top of the bonnet (this may need a lot of glue to fix it so make sure it is dry before moving too much.) Make up the bonnet following the instructions in the pack.
Step 5
Stick the hen onto the nest using the little stand to keep it up and add some wiggle eyes.
Step 6
Add some chick eggs and some unhatched eggs around the rim of the bonnet and around the nest.
