Top Tip
You can use any food colouring you wish so you can try using alternate colours.
How to Make
- Mix together the butter, icing sugar, milk and vanilla extract with an electric whisk or wooden spoon until it is light and fluffy.
- Separate the buttercream into 3 bowls. Add pink, purple and blue food colourings to each bowl. Then place each colour of buttercream into different piping bags.
- Take a small amount of the white fondant icing and roll it into a ball, make as many fondant balls as clam cookies you are making.
- Spray the edible shimmer spray onto the fondant balls and let dry.
- Pipe a swirl of buttercream onto a Viennese biscuit and then place a fondant ball in the centre, nearer the front of the biscuit. Next place a plain biscuit on top of the buttercreamed biscuit. Do this with each colour on as many biscuits as you wish.
- Finish by dusting the edible silver shimmer dust on the top of the biscuit, then enjoy!
