Top Tip
To make your coral reef extra vibrant, layer different colours of tissue paper for added texture and depth, and experiment with cutting the paper into various shapes to mimic the look of real coral!
How to Make
Step 1
Cut a piece of tissue paper into a strip. Then use your scissors to cut strips along one side, leaving about 1cm on the other side to hold it together.
Step 2
Take an LED tea light and add some PVA glue to the side of it. Then, wrap the strip of tissue paper around it, with the tassels pointing upwards.
Step 3
Twist a range of green and blue pipe cleaners into the shape of seaweed, and add colourful beads to each stalk.
Step 4
Place the tissue wrapped tea lights into an empty egg box. Then add in the pipe cleaner seaweed next to each tea light.
Step 5
Stick some sea life stickers to the ends of pipe cleaners, and then push the pipe cleaners into the egg box, so that the fish look like they are swimming above the seaweed.
