How to Make
- Paint the porcelain flowerpot using the light green deco acrylic paint. Leave to dry. Add another coat, leave to dry. If needed, add a third coat and leave to dry.
- Turn the flowerpot upside down to create the image of a leprechaun hat. Cut a long thin rectangle from black foam to wrap around the hat just above the thicker rim of the flowerpot. Attach using a glue dot at both ends of the black foam.
- Cut a square from a sheet of gold glitter foam. Fold the square in half and cut out a rectangle shape along the folded edge. Open the square of glitter foam and you will have a square cut out from the middle. Peel off the backing and stick to the black foam strip to make a buckle on the hat.
- Fill the hat with chocolate gold coins and serve on a dish.
Top Tip
Ensure each layer of paint is dry before adding another coat, to help prevent it getting too thick and messy.
