How to Make

  1. Cut a sheet of yellow, blue and red A4 card in half so they measure approx. 21cm x 14.8cm. Take one piece of each colour and trim 1cm from one short and one long side. Stick a photo in the middle of each smaller piece.
  2. Glue three seaside beads centrally under each photograph using PVA.
  3. Draw pencil marks on the back of the larger pieces of card 5.5cm in from each short edge – this will be your guide for the metallic cord. Stick three strips of double-sided tape across the back of the larger cards and place them in front of you, with a gap of approx. 4cm between each card. Remove the backing paper from the tape and place the metallic cord (a piece approx. 150cm in length) in line with the pencil marks, looping at the top for hanging. Ensure there is about 3cm hanging from the bottom and tie triple knots. Trim off the excess.
  4. Finally, stick the mounted photos onto the larger cards: yellow on red, red on blue and blue on yellow. Then add some seaside stickers round the frame.

Top Tip

Using this concept, create other hangers to display photos using different colour schemes for the backing cards.
