Top Tip

To make sure all the pipe cleaner pieces are stuck in place securely, stick a second heart to the back to hold the components together.

How to Make

Step 1

Heart Magnets

Download the template provided and cut out two large hearts and four small hearts from self-adhesive foam in your chosen colour. Take two pipe cleaners and cut six pieces to approx. 7cm in length each. Bend two of the pipe cleaner pieces into a curve to create the arms. Take the next two and bend the ends into a right angle to create the legs. Keep the last two pipe cleaners straight.

Step 2

Heart Magnets

Remove the backing from one of the large hearts then stick all six pipe cleaner pieces in place. Take the other large heart, remove the backing and stick-on top to secure the pieces in place. Remove the backing from the four small hearts and stick these to the top of each antenna.

Step 3

Heart Magnets

Cut a piece of magnetic tape to size and then stick this to the centre of the large heart. Turn the heart magnet over and stick down two wiggle eyes then draw on a mouth using a thin black pen.
