How to Make

  1. Cut a 9cm square of cream paper and trace a good luck symbol onto it with a pencil (use the picture as a guide). Use a black brush tip pen - or watered-down acrylic paint - to fill in the design so it looks like traditional Chinese brush work.
  2. When the ink or paint is dry, glue the square of paper onto the centre of an A6 piece of orange card, leaving a wide gap top and bottom.
  3. Draw two twisty dragon shapes onto a piece of red card. Make sure one is a mirror image of the other. Cut out the dragons carefully with small scissors.
  4. Glue the dragons to the top and bottom of the orange card so they overlap the edges and are facing in opposite directions
