How to Make
- Take a fine-tipped black porcelain pen and draw on the outline of a moustache at the top of one side of your mug, as shown. Don’t press down too hard on the pen tip or paint will blob onto your mug. Use a thicker nibbed black porcelain pen from the coloured pack to fill it in. Bake in an oven according to the instructions on the pens.
- For the red lips mug, draw the shape straight on with the thicker nibbed red pen, then carefully fill in. Bake according to the pen manufacturer’s instructions.
- For the cat face mug, draw on the outline of your design with a fine-tipped black porcelain pen. Leave to dry. Fill in the nose with pink porcelain pen then bake according to the pen manufacturer’s instructions.
- bake in the oven at 160 degrees for 90 minutes to heat fix design, allow to cool in oven before removing.
Top Tip
Shake pens well and test on scrap paper to ensure paint is flowing smoothly. If your design goes wrong, use a wet wipe or damp tissue to clean it away and start over.
