Top Tip
When sticking down the stem and leaves apply the glue dot to the cardboard instead of the string to make the features more secure. Alternatively, you can use a hot glue gun and hot glue.
How to Make
- Using the template draw and cut out a flower shape from card and cardboard.
- Stick the card onto the cardboard.
- Cut small slits around the edge of the shape for the wool to slot in. tick one end of the wool to the back of the flower using sticky tape and then begin wrapping 1 colour wool around the shape into the slots. When you come to the end of the wool stick or tie to the back of the flower. Repeat this with a second colour on top.
- Wrap a green craft stick with green wool, remember to stick down both ends of the wool to the back of the craft stick.
- Using the template draw and cut out the leaf shapes from green card and stick them to the back of the craft stick.
- Stick the stem to the back of the flower. To make this extra secure use both, glue dots and sticky tape. Alternatively, you can use hot glue.
- Stick a yellow woolly pom pom to the centre of the flower. Make sure to firmly press down to make sure the pom pom is securely stuck.
- Finally, repeat for the other flower shapes.
