Top Tip
Make sure you leave approximately 90cm of string on either end so that there is enough to tie the garland up in your chosen location.
How to Make
- Using the template, cut out four dinosaur feet using brown card. Then cut out five cheese plant leaves from dark green card. Lastly, cut out six plain leaves, three from the medium green card and three from light green. Hole punch two holes at the top of each shape, approximately 6cm apart.
- Cut some string to 4.5m long. Fold it in half and tie a knot at the end. Thread the shapes onto the string using the hole punched holes, in a random order. Spread them out onto the string. You can overlap the leaves slightly so that some are behind others.
- Cut strips of light and dark green tissue paper at different lengths between 50cm-90cm. Drape them over the string in random places so they hang down. Cut some string and fold it over itself a few times until it is around 50cm-90cm long too. Repeat this several times and tie them sporadically along the garland, hanging down like the tissue paper.
